The mission of Alamo Head Injury Association (AHIA) is to improve the quality of life and well-being for survivors of brain injury (traumatic or non-traumatic), their caregivers, and their family members.

AHIA exists to assist survivors and their caregivers to cope with the changes in their lives by providing a forum for networking through our monthly support groups, identifying helpful resources, providing recovery process education, and offering grants to qualified applicants.

Join us for our monthly in-person support group! We’d love to have you! There will be time to chat, eat, and learn. Caregivers also have the option to join in a separate support group just for them.

  • Located at PAM Warm Springs — 5101 Medical Drive, San Antonio in the ConnectAbility Meeting Room 132 on the first floor.

  • A light meal will be provided — our support groups are always free. Come hungry!
