Caregiver Survival is a free, 6 week virtual education & support group. This group provides people caregiving for a loved one with cancer a safe space to connect. This will be a curriculum based support group with a full hour of support lead by our team of Texas Oncology Social Workers.

  • A safe space to connect with others

  • Emotional & practical support

  • Masters level social workers to lead the group

We Meet Fridays Via Zoom | From 10:00-11:00am (CST) 

Topics include:

  • August 1: Getting to know you as a caregiver

  • August 8: “Great Expectations” of caregivers

  • August 15: Emotional regulation through stressful times to prevent burnout

  • August 22: Communication

  • August 29: Life Satisfaction – Understanding the importance of self-care

  • September 5: Finding the joy in caregiving
